FishlRecognition™uses advanced AI algorithms that can accurately identify and measure fish in real time, regardless of the environmental conditions, turbidity, fish orientation, or fish speed. The system can distinguish between different species, as well as wild and hatchery fish, based on the presence or absence of an adipose fin. The system can also calculate the fork length and girth of each fish, which are important indicators of fish health and growth.
FishlRecognition™ can be used in combination with the GateKeeper™, a hands-free automatic sorting system that can direct the fish to different destinations based on the FishlRecognition™ data. This can be useful for separating fish by species, size, origin, or other factors, depending on the management objectives. The system provides a fast and gentle way of sorting and passing fish, without causing any stress or injury to the fish or requiring any human handling.
Automatically records and logs all the data associated with each fish that passes through the system, including the date, time, count, species, size, and image files. The data can be uploaded to the cloud or retained locally, where it can be accessed remotely by authorized users in near-real time. The system eliminates the need for manual data collection and logging, which can be prone to errors, biases, estimations, or inconsistencies. The system also enables easy data analysis and visualization, as well as data sharing and collaboration among different stakeholders, making meeting compliance record-keeping and reporting a snap.
